My grandmother, Charlene Clement, was a breast cancer survivor for an incredible 29 years before she passed away in 2025. Her strength, courage and resilience have always been an inspiration to our family.

In 2024, breast cancer became part of my own story when I was diagnosed. After treatment, I am incredibly grateful to now call myself a survivor as well. Walking this journey has given me an even deeper appreciation for my grandmother’s strength and for every person and family affected by this disease.

I walk in memory of my grandma, in celebration of my own survivorship and in support of everyone who is still fighting. By participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk, our team is helping fund lifesaving research, patient support and resources for those facing breast cancer.
