This year, I’m walking in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk for two of the strongest and most inspiring women in my life—my mom, Tonni, and my aunt, Carmelina.

This walk is especially meaningful to our family because my mom is celebrating 10 years breast cancer free, while my aunt Carmelina is celebrating her 2nd year in remission. These milestones are something we are incredibly grateful for and proud to celebrate.

For my family, breast cancer is more than just a diagnosis. It represents the strength, courage, and resilience of the women we love. We’ve seen firsthand the challenges that come with cancer, but we’ve also experienced the hope that comes with treatment, recovery, and the support of family and friends.

Walking in the MORE THAN PINK Walk is our way of celebrating these incredible milestones while honoring everyone whose lives have been affected by breast cancer. We walk for survivors, for those currently fighting, for those we have lost, and for the families who stand beside them every step of the way.
