Both Mom and I were diagnosed with breast cancer thanks to the CHEK2 gene we both carry. Now we're fighting back, side by side. Mom had a lumpectomy and is currently rocking chemo and radiation, and I've gone through a double mastectomy. Together, we're showing cancer that it messed with the wrong mother-daughter duo!
