As members of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen in their mission to end breast cancer forever.

Team Black Women 4 Boobs was created in loving memory of Dewana Foster — a devoted wife, working mother, and talented cosmetologist who beautified the world one face at a time while courageously navigating both breast and ovarian cancer. Her strength continues to inspire us to take action, raise awareness, and create meaningful change.

Our team is also committed to reducing stigmas and barriers surrounding breast cancer in communities of color. Through education, advocacy, mental health awareness, and encouraging preventative care at every age, we are working to empower families with knowledge, support, and access to resources that can save lives.

The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance, and so much more.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today while fearlessly searching for tomorrow’s cures.
