Why I joined the Komen community
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever. I have lost loved ones to breast cancer, and I have friends who continue to face this disease with incredible strength and courage.
Through my work, I also see every day how important community support is for those navigating breast cancer. Beyond the physical and emotional challenges, many patients face financial burdens that can make an already difficult journey even harder.
