Jess and I launched our "Breast Side Story" journey in 2015 while working as medical assistants at a breast center. Outside of work, we spent our free time walking, spreading awareness, and raising funds—even teaming up to crush our goal for the "Real Men Wear Pink" campaign.

This mission is deeply personal for both of us. Early detection spared Jess from disease at a young age; thanks to rapid screenings by skilled mammographers, brilliant radiologists, and an incredible surgeon, she got the fast treatment she needed.

 In 2018, my own mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and received the same swift, compassionate care from our beloved medical team. She is now in remission and striving to raise awareness for others!

Through the years, our shared passion for supporting patients and connecting with our community has built an unbreakable friendship. Now, a decade later in 2026, we are reuniting to continue our lifelong mission.
