Walking in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk means so much to our organization because women’s health, early detection, and access to screening mammography are at the heart of who we are. Our story is rooted in a commitment to breast health, from opening the nation’s first non-hospital-based outpatient imaging center to becoming the first in Colorado to offer 3D mammography.
The legacy of Sally Jobe continues to inspire us today, and supporting Susan G. Komen is one of the ways we carry that legacy forward. Together, we’re walking to raise awareness, support the fight against breast cancer, and remind our communities that early detection through regular screening mammograms can make a difference.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments, as well as vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education & information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
