Please join me, my colleagues, friends, and family as we come together this October to walk for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. Many of us on this team are oncology, nurses and healthcare professionals. Every day we have the privilege of caring for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. We are hands that heal and hearts that hope. We have stood besides our patients, celebrated victories, held hands through uncertainty and witnessed firsthand just how much strength it takes to fight cancer. For some of us, this fight is personal. Some members of our team have fought breast cancer themselves and this year as team captain I find myself fighting once again as I faced reoccurrence of my own breast cancer. So this October we walk with even more purpose. We walk for our patients, for our survivors, we walk for those currently fighting, and we walk for those we love, and those we carry in our hearts. And we walked toward a future when no one has to hear the words you have breast cancer. I would be honored to have you join us. Wear the pink and join the fight.
