My Story
I'm not certain that I know anyone at this point who's life hasn't been touched by breast cancer. My Aunt Joanie is the first person who comes to mind - she spent half her life battling every kind of cancer. Watching her beauty and strength though rounds of chemo and radiation was inspirational but unnecessary. Knowing we might be able to prevent this is reason for us all to dig into our pockets and help fight this brutal disease.
This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. I am joining coworkers and friends in Colorado, all of whom have had their lives impacted directly by breast cancer.
My goal is $1500, of which I'll cover if I don't get enough donations. (I hate soliciting money). Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts - no amount is too small, even if you have $10.
Funds raised help support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support.
