Angela’s story
Most of you know that cancer has been part of my life since 2022. What you may not always see are all the treatments, scans, appointments, waiting for results, fear, exhaustion, and emotions that happen behind the scenes.
I love to smile. I love to laugh. I love making memories. And most of all, I love my family and the people in my life with my whole heart. They are my reason to keep showing up and fighting, even on the days when I'm tired of fighting.
Cancer has taught me that the little things really aren't little at all. Another birthday, another holiday, a night out, laughing until your stomach hurts, a hug from someone you love, or just waking up and having an ordinary day—those things mean everything to me now.
I don't want cancer to be what people see when they look at me. I want them to see Angela—the girl who still smiles, still laughs, still loves hard, and still lives her life as big and as fully as she possibly can.
That is why I am walking and fundraising. Research means better treatments, more options, more time, and HOPE for people like me and so many others fighting breast cancer.
I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but I do know what I'm going to do with today.
I'm going to LIVE.
I'm going to LOVE.
I'm going to LAUGH.
I'm going to make memories.
And I'm going to keep smiling. ð’
Because cancer may be something I have to live with, but I will never let it stop me from loving the life I have.
If you would like to donate, walk with me, share my story, or just cheer me on, I would be so incredibly grateful.
Here's to more memories, more smiles, more life—and someday, a cure.
Love,
Angela
