Seven years ago, I heard the words no one ever expects: you have cancer. That moment changed the course of my life in ways I never could have imagined.

While I would never have chosen that path, it opened the door to new experiences, new purpose, and a deeper appreciation for what truly matters. My journey led me to yoga and meditation, public speaking, and the courage to follow passions I had long set aside. It taught me that we don't always understand where life is leading us until we're already walking the path.

Today, my greatest intention is to hold space for others. To offer support, compassion, and hope, wherever they may be on their own journey. That is why volunteering with the Komen Community and the MORE THAN PINK Walk means so much to me. It is an opportunity to give back to a community that has touched my life so deeply and to stand alongside those who are navigating breast cancer with strength and resilience.
