As a breast cancer survivor myself, and after seeing how difficult the journey was for my sister, who is also a breast cancer survivor, this cause is deeply personal to me.

Going through breast cancer myself was one thing, but watching my sister face it gave me an entirely different perspective. Seeing how hard it was for someone I love made me want to do more than simply be grateful that we both survivors.

Having a daughter and daughter-in law and 4 granddaughters with Breast Cancer on both sides of the family is another reason to help find a cure for Breast cancer so they never have to worry about it. 

That’s why I decided to do my part by participating in this breast cancer walk. I’m walking for my sister, for myself, for everyone who has fought breast cancer, and especially for those who are still fighting today.

This walk is my small way of giving back, raising awareness, and supporting the continued fight against breast cancer.
