Women Who Empower is proud to join the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk!

As a community of women in social work, our mission is centered around empowering women, advocating for others, and creating spaces where women feel supported and connected. We chose to participate in this walk because breast cancer affects women, families, and communities in so many ways—and we believe in showing up for causes that directly impact the people and communities we serve.

We are walking to honor survivors, support those currently facing breast cancer, remember those we have lost, and help create a future where fewer women and families have to experience this disease.

Through our participation, we are also raising funds to support Susan G. Komen’s work, including breast cancer research and services for people navigating breast cancer and barriers to care.

We invite our Women Who Empower community, fellow social workers, friends, and families to support our team by donating or walking alongside us. Every contribution brings us one step closer to a world without breast cancer.

Together, we can walk with purpose, advocate for change, and remind those affected by breast cancer that they have a community standing beside them.
