We’re the Bunco Babes — a group of friends who somehow built an entire social identity around a game we’ve never actually played. For us, “Bunco” has always really meant an excuse to get together, catch up, laugh, drink wine, and stay connected through all the chaos of life.

This year, our reason for showing up for each other feels a little more meaningful. Breast cancer became personal for our group, so we’re coming together for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk — to support one of our own, honor everyone impacted by breast cancer, and raise money for a cause that suddenly feels very close to home.

We may still never get around to actually playing Bunco, but we’ll always show up for each other.
