25+ Years. $5,000 2026 Fundraising Goal. One Mission.
Over 25 years ago, my world changed when my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, she is 86 years old and thankfully cancer-free. She was my original "why" for joining the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk (back then Race for the Cure), and she remains my inspiration every single day.
To those of you who have supported my fundraising efforts year after year: thank you. Your unwavering generosity has kept me moving forward for over two decades. I could not do this without you.
While my journey started with Mom, it has unfortunately grown to include many others. Over the years, I have lost dear friends to this disease. I have also watched loved ones fight through rigorous clinical trials, battling the toughest, most aggressive forms of breast cancer. They are the reason I am pushing to raise $5,000 this October.
We have come a long way in 25 years, but the fight is far from over. We still have a long way to go in developing advanced treatments. Equally important, we must ensure that everyone—regardless of who they are or where they live—has equal access to life-saving diagnostics and proper care.
I continue to support Susan G. Komen because they take a holistic approach. They don't just fund research; they support patients, advocate for policy change, and break down barriers to care.
We have come too far to stop now. Please consider making a donation today to help me reach my $5,000 goal and bring us closer to a world without breast cancer.
