My Story
This year, our family and friends are walking in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in DC for someone incredibly special to us - my sister-in-law, Brooke.
Brooke was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in January, just six months after welcoming her second baby boy, Bobby. Since then, she has completed two rounds of chemotherapy and a mastectomy, and her journey continues.
Through it all, Brooke has shown a strength that is hard to put into words. She is an incredible mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend -and somehow, even on the hardest days, she continues to be the same ray of sunshine she has always been to everyone around her.
This walk is our opportunity to stand beside our Brooke and all of the families facing breast cancer. We're walking to support research, better treatments and ultimately, a future where no one has to experience this disease.
We would be grateful for your support - whether you are walking alongside us, donate to our team, or simply cheer Brooke on from afar. Every step and every contribution matters for Brooke, Sean, their boys Jack & Bobby, and for every family fighting this fight.
