My Story
On January 9, 2026, I was diagnosed with stage 3C triple negative breast cancer. Since then, I have undergone 6 months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy, a double mastectomy with lymph node removal and am currently undergoing proton therapy (in lieu of radiation). After proton therapy ends, I will be enrolling in the ASCENT-05 clinical trial at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, where I will continue chemotherapy treatment to hopefully prevent recurrence.
I created this team for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk to raise funds to support breakthrough research and provide assistance to those facing breast cancer today who need our support. Funds from Susan G. Komen go directly to research opportunities as well, such as the ASCENT-05 trial that I am participating in.
Thank you all for your constant support and for being the “village” for me and my family this year. We are so grateful. We hope to see you walking with us on October 10!
