This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Komen DMV Tri-State MORE THAN PINK Walk - and for me, it’s deeply meaningful. 

I lost my mom, Roberta, to breast cancer, and I’ve unfortunately seen so many close friends and their families impacted by this disease. As a mom to two boys, this fight feels even more personal. 

I’m also proud to serve as Chair of my local community board for Susan G. Komen, which makes this mission even more meaningful to me.
