Megan was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in November 2023. Thanks to groundbreaking research, innovative targeted therapies, exceptional medical care, and the incredible support of family, friends, and prayer warriors, she reached remission in April 2024. Earlier this year, after the cancer spread to her brain, Megan underwent successful brain surgery to remove the primary tumor, followed by radiation treatments. Today, she continues her journey with oral chemotherapy, meeting each challenge with remarkable strength, hope, and determination.
Megan's story is a powerful reminder of why breast cancer research matters. The targeted treatment that helped her was made possible through years of research, and every new breakthrough gives more patients access to lifesaving therapies and more reasons to hope.
