Once again I'm participating in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk.
I was diagnosed with Triple Positive breast cancer in 2024. Part of my treatment plan consisted of Kadcyla Immunotherpay. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has significantly contributed to the research behind Kadcyla, a targeted immunotherapy that helps treat my specific HER2-Positive breast cancer. Kadcyla was FDA approved as recently as 2013 and has shown improved survival rates in patients. It's only one of many cancer fighting drugs developed with support of Komen funded research.
