My Story
I have participated in a Komen breast cancer walk before, but this year it’s personal. I am now a survivor of breast cancer. I was extremely fortunate to have been diagnosed very early, had a completely contained tumor, and am, at present, cancer-free. I benefitted greatly from the research that informed procedures that diagnosed my cancer at such an early stage, as well as diagnostic testing that helped my doctors and I decide on my course of treatment.
My goal is to help raise money in a spirit of gratitude and so other men and women can benefit like I did.
