My Breast Cancer Journey
As most of you know, I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2023. 2024 was a year of aggressive treatment: chemo, surgery, radiation. In 2025 I had my first reconstructive surgery (there will be at least one more). I am also on several medications to keep the cancer away. These cause me a number of side effects that I have learned to live with. I often get frustrated with my body, but am so happy to still be here! I am approaching the two year mark of active treatment ending, and looking forward to marking that milestone. Help me celebrate!
