I Am Still Standing!
Recently I realized that in October 2026 I will have survived Breast Cancer 1.0 for 25 years!
Yet in 2023, the breast cancer beast struck again and it was not a recurrence; it was a different type of breast cancer. Both times it was caught early and like my team name "I'm Still Standing".
During breast cancer 2.0, the treatment was so much different. It was so much more advanced. I am still here because of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
