My Story
In 2025 we found out that my wife, Jennifer Weisbarth had Triple Negative Breast Cancer at 42 years old. This was a devastating blow to our otherwise pretty perfect life. Seemed like everything was right on track and going exactly how we'd planned. That's usually when it strikes! I have never been much of an emotional person, well at least when it came to being sad, that day she was officially diagnosed changed me forever. I can't even make it through typing this without crying. This diagnosis led to 16 rounds of Chemotherapy, 17 infusions of immunotherapy, 16 sessions of radiation, double mastectomy, DIEP flap reconstruction, intense recovery, along with more surgeries and recovery. It has changed us forever, but we stuck to it, she is one of the strongest people I know, she didn't let any of it slow her down for very long. It was/is a lot. We've been to more Dr. appointments, and learned more about cancer than I ever thought possible. Enough negativity. We want this to be bigger than just a diagnosis. We want to put forth effort and knowledge to help fight this awful disease. Please donate if you can. Every donation helps. Researching and medication has come so far. Triple Negative Breast Cancer is the most aggressive of all four. Without research the outcome for Jennifer, and many others could be a lot worse. The regimen that she went through is the standard of care for TNBC and was only approved on July 26, 2021. Less than 4 years prior to her diagnosis.
