I’M WALKING IN THE SUSAN G. KOMEN MORE THAN PINK WALK FOR MY MOM, WHO IS CURRENTLY NAVIGATING HER BREAST CANCER JOURNEY. AS HER FULL-TIME CAREGIVER, I’VE BEEN THERE FOR EVERY APPOINTMENT, THE DIFFICULT DAYS, AND THE SMALL VICTORIES THAT REMIND US TO KEEP GOING.

THIS WALK MEANS SO MUCH TO ME BECAUSE IT’S AN OPPORTUNITY TO STAND BESIDE MY MOM AND SHOW HER THAT SHE IS NEVER ALONE IN THIS FIGHT. I’M WALKING TO CELEBRATE HER STRENGTH, RESILIENCE, AND COURAGE, AND TO HONOR EVERYTHING SHE HAS OVERCOME AND CONTINUES TO FACE. WE CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR A CURE!
