In 1986, my family lost my father, Tommie, after he was diagnosed with breast cancer. His loss left an everlasting mark on our family, but his story did not end there.
Since his passing, 5 of his 8 daughters and 1 of his 4 sons(who unfortunately did not survive) have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Our family has faced this disease in ways I never imagined, and it has made this fight deeply personal.
I am walking in honor of my father and brother, in honor of my family, and for everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
I am currently on my own battlefield, fighting this terrible disease, and I am asking you to stand beside me. Every prayer, every word of encouragement, every donation, and every act of support means more than you know.
Your support will help me continue this fight and help bring awareness, hope, and resources to those affected by breast cancer. My greatest hope is that one day we will find a cure so that no other family has to experience the heartbreak that mine has endured.
I am asking you to join me in this fight.
Help me honor my father and Brother.
Help me support my family.
Help me fight for a future without breast cancer.
Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for standing with me, supporting me, and helping me win this battle.
We are Team Tommie's Girls!
