This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.

10 years ago in October I found a lump in my left breast and 10 years ago in November I got my diagnosis of HER 2 stage 2 cancer. We found out it was an aggressive tumor and was already in my lymph nodes. I battled through chemo, losing all my hair, a bi-lateral mastectomy, radiation, reconstruction, Herceptin to finish out the year, a wound vac from complications from the reconstruction, and a experimental med of Nerlynx for 10 months. My family had to go through this battle with me and it was hard on all of us. I want nothing more than for one day there to be a cure and women never have to go through this battle or any of my long term complications I live with.
