A few months ago, I heard the words no one ever expects to hear: “You have breast cancer.”
As a wife, mom of three, and a healthcare provider, I’ve spent much of my life caring for others. Suddenly, I found myself on the other side of medicine—facing appointments, surgery, uncertainty, and the emotional challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.
I’m incredibly grateful for the outstanding medical care I’ve received, the love of my family and friends, and the hope that modern treatments provide. My journey has shown me just how important research is. Every breakthrough, every new treatment, and every improved outcome exists because someone chose to invest in breast cancer research.
That’s why I’m participating in this walk.
I’m not raising money for myself. I’m raising money so that future patients have even better treatments, fewer side effects, earlier detection, and, one day, a world where no family has to hear the words, “You have breast cancer.”
If you’re able, I’d be honored if you would support my fundraising efforts. Every donation—large or small—helps move research forward and brings hope to patients and families everywhere.
Thank you for supporting this cause that has become deeply personal to me. Together, we can help create a future with more survivors, more hope, and ultimately, a cure.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
Will you also join my team to walk to end breast cancer?
