As many of you know, my sister was first diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and sought a second opinion to confirm that she was cancer-free. Unfortunately, we learned that she has HR+ type of breast cancer that was not identified in the original pathology report and was missed in the two remaining lymph nodes after her surgery. She is now on medications to stop any cancer cells from growing and spreading. Both have side effects.

This year, I will once again be walking in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk in Dallas on October 17.
