Stage 3.99 is More Than Pink
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40 with no family history, I was distraught. When I was diagnosed with incurable metastatic breast cancer at 45, I was enraged. Since then I have met countless (young) women who are living and even thriving with this disease who have given me the courage to do the same.
On October 24th we will Walk for a Cure with Susan G. Komen to end breast cancer forever because enough lives have been taken.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
