My Story

Join Team Cool Riders — Susan G. Komen Walk, October 24


On April 24, 2026, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. It's one of the most aggressive forms of the disease but I'm one of the lucky ones. I found it early, and because of decades of research, I have every reason to believe I'll beat this.


I'm currently in treatment. I'll finish chemo on September 29, followed by surgery and immunotherapy, with the goal of being done with everything by May 2027. It's been a hard road, but it's also shown me just how much progress research has made and how much more is still needed.


That's why I'm walking. On October 24, I'll be lacing up with Team Cool Riders at the Susan G. Komen walk to raise money for the research that gave me my diagnosis, my treatment plan, and my hope.




I'd love for you to walk with me or if you can't make it that day, a donation means just as much. Every step and every dollar goes toward finding better treatments and, someday, a cure.
