On September 30th I'll hit one year since completing active treatment for triple-negative breast cancer, and on October 24th I'll be running the NYC Race for the Cure to raise funds to support breast cancer patients and breast cancer research.
I am so proud and eternally grateful to be living proof of the impact of breast cancer research. The KEYNOTE 522 regimen that saved my life was approved by the FDA just a little over 5 years ago, and would not have been possible without the continued support for more research and better treatments. In 2026, we've seen exciting advancements in trials for a TNBC vaccine, and in numerous new drugs for treating many different types of breast cancer. It's wonderfully encouraging to see so much progress happening at such an astounding pace.
Last year, with your generous support, I was able to raise over $1000, and would love to do that again this year. I so appreciate any amount that folks are able to give to this cause that is close to my heart both figuratively and anatomically!
