The Komen Race for the Cure is more than a walk — it is a promise. A promise to remember, to fight, and to carry forward the strength of those we love. For our family, Team Ro represents the incredible legacy of our mother, who started this team over a decade ago with compassion, resilience, courage, and hope at its core. Although we lost her to breast cancer three years ago, her spirit continues to guide every step we take.

We walk not only in memory of her, but in honor of the countless lives impacted by this disease. We walk to celebrate survivors, support those still fighting, and help create a future where no family has to endure this loss. Team Ro is our way of keeping her light alive — carrying forward the kindness, determination, selflessness, and love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
