Fighting Breast Cancer in 2026

This year I lowered my risk of breast cancer by approximately 50%. I've been on medication for the last 5 years that has helped to lower my risk. Specifically, I had a 50% chance of developing breast cancer and now it should be about 25%. While I am still high risk (anything over 20% is considered high risk), this has been a huge relief.

Unfortunately, many other women (and men) are not as lucky as me. Today, I'm asking for your support in raising funds for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. These funds will help with cancer treatments, research, and community health outreach.

My family and I will once again be participating in the 5K Race for the Cure. This one will be memorable as it will now take place on the historic Brooklyn Bridge in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Will you please join us in this fight by making a donation today?
