Team Seem is More Than Pink

Hi family & friends,

Five years ago, I was diagnosed with cancer. Most of you were on this journey with me. You fed me & my family and brought lots of Tiny's cookies. You sat with me and let me cry. You made me laugh. I have not forgotten any of it.

What came after was surgery and reconstruction, all while Connor and I wondered whether we'd be able to expand our family. That part took three rounds of IVF, producing two embryos. The first transfer didn't take. The second one did, and in July 2025 our sweet, happy baby girl joined us and her very proud big brother.

Right as we were settling into life as a family of four, I was hit with news that my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was strange being on the other side of it, but I knew those rooms, and I was able to help her through the scary unknown. I'm happy to say she's through it now, healthy and thriving.

This year, MD Anderson moved me into survivorship. Five years of waiting rooms, and now real hope that this is behind me. This year, I registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I'm dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. I'm walking for my mom, for the new me, and for everyone still trying to navigate this. Funds raised support breakthrough research and provide real help to people facing breast cancer right now, whether that's emotional support, financial assistance, or navigation services that break down the barriers to getting care.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.

Thank you for being the people you've been to me these last five years.

With so much love, Seema
