This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. When I was just 13 years old I lost one of my favorite aunts to breast cancer her name was ,Carlota. I saw what this disease did to her body, our family her children and her husband. She past at a very young age of 35 and if Komen had the research possibility like it does now I'm convinced she could have medical grade medicine or research in new cancer detection. I will be walking in her honor. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help.
