This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I am dedicated to Komen's mission of ending breast cancer forever, and I need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
My breast cancer story…
I am a triple negative breast cancer survivor participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I was diagnosed in 2022, when my biopsy results came back positive just five days before my birthday, though I did not begin treatment until the following month. I completed chemotherapy at St. Luke’s – Baylor Hospital, along with surgery, radiation, and ongoing medication. I have since transferred my care to MD Anderson, following my oncologist’s move back there.
Now three years in remission, I continue to support efforts that advance breast cancer research, education, and patient resources. My non-hereditary diagnosis is a reminder that breast cancer can affect anyone. Donations in support of my participation in the Komen Race for the cure help fund programs and research for individuals and families impacted by breast cancer.
Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
