Your gift could provide a one month supply of Tamoxifen, a drug used to treat breast cancers that rely on estrogen for growth, to a patient in need. Every 60 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. Your gift will help save lives! Your gift could provide a screening mammogram to an uninsured or underinsured person in need. Your gift could provide a breast prosthesis for an uninsured or underinsured woman in need. Your gift will help us reach our bold goal to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. within the next decade!

My Story

This year, I joined the Komen community and registered for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure after being diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in August 2025. After several months of chemotherapy, I had the privilege of ringing the bell in February 2026.

Throughout this journey, my faith in God and the love, prayers, and support from my family, friends, coworkers, and church family carried me through and reminded me I was never alone. Breast cancer doesn't just affect the patient, it impacts everyone walking alongside them.

Walking through breast cancer opened my eyes to how important support, research, and resources are for those facing this journey. That's why participating in Race for the Cure means so much to me.

Would you join me in this fight by helping raise funds and awareness for those impacted by breast cancer? Every donation and act of support helps bring hope to those walking this journey and moves us one step closer to a world without breast cancer. Thank you for standing with me.
