I’m running to Endthisbullshit again!

It’s almost September and time again for me to run the Komen Race for the Cure! This will be my third opportunity to run as a survivor as I celebrated 2 years of being cancer-free this summer.

I have a new training partner this year! Her name is Alexis (she’s the cute one in the pic!) and she is one of the many reasons I think it is so important to support Komen’s research, community and resource programs. She is helping me train to run the race in under 30 minutes. (Which is not an amazing pace at all but it will be the best I’ve done since having my foobs installed and thyroid removed. So I’ll take it! ) Lexi is up to 7 miles now and is challenging me every step of the way- I am so lucky to be around to run with her!!
