At the end of August, my mom, Katherine "Kathy" Griffin Chuck, was diagnosed with breast cancer. It's been a whirlwind, and I wanted to do something with all of it so I'm walking in the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk with my team, Mom's Fight.

Kathy raised us kids in the Inland Empire, and today she lives in Orange County, works at Disneyland, and is finishing up her doctoral degree at University of Phoenix all while now facing this diagnosis and an upcoming surgery. If you know her, you know she doesn't slow down for anything, and that's exactly why this hit so hard.
