2026 Komen Triangle Race for the Cure

No one expects to get breast cancer in their 20s.

When Kate was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2017 at the age of 25, she made us promise to find the good, no matter what. Team #nobaddays was born.

We lost Kate in April 2019. I miss her constantly. She had the biggest heart of anyone I know and her friendship was one of the most important in my life.

The Komen community showed Kate a lot of love and gave her hope for a brighter future for others with this disease. We participated in one Komen 3-Day together in 2018, and I've walked in her memory in several more since. 

I'm looking forward to participating in this year's Race for the Cure in honor of my beautiful, brave, kind friend, Kate.
