Team Morna is More Than Pink
In 2024, breast cancer took my sister, Morna, but it did not take her courage, her love, or the impact she continues to have on people who knew her.
This year, I'm racing for the cure with Susan G. Komen. I race for Morna. I'm running for the sister I miss every day, and for the millions of people still fighting breast cancer.
The funds our team raises go directly toward life-saving breast cancer research to develop better, more effective treatments. They also provide critical support for patients and families, from education and emotional support to patient navigation and financial assistance when it's needed most.
Ending breast cancer takes more than hope. It takes action. It takes community. It takes all of us standing together supporting those who need help today while fiercely pushing toward tomorrow's cures.
