I started the Pink Ribbons club in 2011 in high school a year after my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am recreating this group in Chicago in honor of my mother's strength, resilience, and fight for survival. She has been living in remission for now 10 years, thanks to the research and testing that allowed her to get diagnosed and receive treatment in early stages. If you have a loved one who has been impacted by this disease, or you want to show support for the millions of women who have been affected by breast cancer, please come out and join me to walk together in honor of the ones we love. See you then!
