I'm walking the Race for the Cure - well, this is actually my FIRST 5k - for my dear niece Sandy. God took her into His kingdom on March 17, 2026..
Sandy was, and always will be, an inspiration to us all. She was such a very caring, generous and loving person to all she knew. She loved to travel, meet new people (you couldn't help but love her), and was a true foodie and loved wine! She would continue to reach out to others to check on them while she was fighting her own battle. That's just the type of person she was. We miss her dearly.
This horrible disease has touched 5 members of our family - which is unfathomable to me.
For those who have been impacted by breast cancer and their families, my prayers go out to you.
We walk to help fund research to combat this thing that leaves us feeling helpless to those who suffer the fight. Well, there IS something we can do!
Join me - if not for the walk - then any donation you an provide would be EXTREMELY appreciated! Any small amount is appreciated. Like a grain of sand, those small donations can add up to a beach, like the ones Sandy liked to travel to.
Thank you SO very much from the bottom of my heart!
