In Honor Of Her and All

"Hey Driver to the top of the World!"

My cousin Sandra and I love the band Lucky Boys Confusion. For my 20th birthday, she bought me tickets as a present and we both got to enjoy them for the first time. She was always so thoughtful, kind, considerate, and an absolute joy to be around. She truly brightened a room. She loved traveling, a great wine, music (especially live!), and was always up for an adventure. She was brave and confident to do solo traveling, something I've greatly admired about her.

She waited for no one and chose her adventure with her full heart.

She sadly passed on March 17th but always remained strong in her fight to the very end. She will be greatly missed by us all. While my family is no stranger to cancer, I 'race for the cure' in memory of my dear cousin Sandra, for my family, for the survivors, for those lost, for all those fighting their fight, and those who seek hope.
