The Summer Squad is More Than Pink
Hi Everyone! As you know this "Detour" started for me in April of 2025. My amazing friends hosted a "give cancer the boot" party before I started my treatments. Exactly one year from that date I will be walking in this race as a survivor!! It will be super emotional. It is only appropriate that exactly one year from the party date that we continue with the theme "Give cancer the boot." Please let me know if you would like a custom team shirt(you will get a Komen tshirt in your race packet)
As a member of this team, we are each playing a part in helping Susan G. Komen® in their mission to end breast cancer forever.
The money our team raises will fund research to discover more effective treatments for breast cancer. Additionally, it will provide vital patient support to help connect people with things like breast cancer education and information, emotional support, patient navigation, financial assistance and so much more.
Ending breast cancer needs all of us. United together, we can support those who need help today, while fearlessly searching for tomorrow's cures.
