Welcome to My Personal Page

Four years ago I participated in this  race not knowing what the future would bring.  I was newly diagnosed and scared for my life.  That phrase “You have breast cancer” was still ringing in my ears and I was digesting my options.  Little did I know that this  would become a family affair- becoming part of a club no one wants an invitation to.  My mother would be diagnosed 6 months later and then my cousin Kelly.  My family has shown immense support and I am happy to walk beside them. 

 

I’m happy to say my mother, Kelly and I are on the other side of this horrible disease.  This race is always empowering, inspiring and with all of the continuous contributions to breast cancer research I’m hopeful we find a cure in my lifetime.  I do this for me, my mother, my daughter and now my cousin Kelly.

Ending breast cancer needs all of us, and your generosity can make a real difference. Together, let’s show breast cancer patients there’s a whole community standing by their side.
