Hello, friends & family!

I’ll be walking again on May 17 in the More Than Pink Walk in Pittsburgh — my third year supporting the incredible work of Susan G. Komen, which funds breast cancer research, treatment, and patient support.

Because of your generosity over the past two years, our team has raised more than $22,000 for this cause. I will never be able to fully express what that support has meant — not just to our family, but to so many others facing breast cancer.

When my daughter Lisa was diagnosed in January 2024 — just five weeks after giving birth to Isla — our world stopped. Today, thanks in part to advances in research and care funded by organizations like Susan G. Komen, Lisa is cancer-free and thriving. She’s making up for lost time with Isla and Mitch, enjoying her career, and living life fully.

But there’s still a quiet weight we carry. Lisa is tested every six months, and those moments bring anxiety and prayers for continued health. And still, she gives back — supporting other young women newly diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, helping them face the fear and hold onto hope.

And while Lisa’s story is one of hope, we also walk for all women impacted by this disease — those in the middle of treatment, those who have fought bravely, and those whose journeys continue to inspire us every day. They are part of every step we take, and the reason this work must continue.

Because of you, Lisa has hope. And because of you, that hope can reach others.
