My Story
I’m incredibly proud to share that I recently joined Susan G. Komen as the Executive Director for PA & DE. This mission is deeply personal to me, and being part of an organization dedicated to ending breast cancer feels like coming full circle. Breast cancer has touched my family for generations. My grandmother, who was known as 'Bunny', battled breast cancer for more than 17 years. She was diagnosed at just 34 years old, more than five decades ago, at a time when treatment options and survival rates looked very different than they do today. Her strength and resilience shaped our family in countless ways. Today, I’m also grateful to say that my Aunt Jane is a breast cancer survivor. Her story is a reminder of how far we’ve come through research, early detection, better treatments, and the incredible support of advocates and donors who refused to give up hope.
As the mother of three girls, this fight drives me every single day. I want a future where my daughters and future generations no longer have to fear this disease. I truly believe we can change the trajectory of breast cancer, but we cannot do it alone.
That’s why I’m asking for your help. Your donation, no matter the size, helps fund life-saving research, patient support, advocacy, and programs that bring us closer to a world without breast cancer.
If you’re able, please consider supporting my fundraising efforts and joining me in this mission that means so much to my family and so many others.
Thank you for your support, your generosity, and for standing with me in the fight to end breast cancer.
