We?re walking as Team Tough Titties, a name that perfectly captures the strength and resilience of our queen bee, Kelly, who faced breast cancer head-on this summer and came out the other side tougher (and more beautiful) than ever.
Kelly was diagnosed in June, and after a whirlwind of treatment and a double mastectomy, she?s now proudly cancer-free. During that time, a friend told her, ?I?d rather miss your titties than miss you,? and it put everything into perspective. Her love of life, people, music, travel, and mothering sweet Tony - it all took center stage. She?s faced it all with humor, courage, and openness, showing us what real resilience looks like.
Team Tough Titties is walking to celebrate Kelly?s recovery and to raise funds that make this kind of strength possible for others: funding research, treatment advances, and the vital emotional and financial support that help people navigate this obscenely difficult period in their lives.
